Once The Ride is over, we're still not finished.
On June 9, 2012, one of ourbeneficiary charities, Stop Hunger Now, will bring a truckload of food products and a “meal packet assembly team” to Vero Beach, where we will organize volunteers of all ages in a one day effort to create up to 100,000 meal packets for hungry people around the world. This will be a day of actively demonstrating the power of our community when we pull together - not just by donating funds, but also by getting involved in the work of beating hunger.
You can volunteer for either of two 2-hour shifts. One starts at 9:30 AM, the other at 1:00 PM. We'll be working at the Gifford Youth Activity Center, 4875 43rd Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32967. One person can enroll as an individual or can sign up an entire volunteer team - family, friends, church, civic, or other group. To volunteer, click here and sign up now.
It's time to commit two hours for a wonderful cause. Round-up your friends and family to help and join the fun on Saturday, June 9.
